Sea Grape

 

A familiar face along the coastal roads of Tortola, the Sea Grape has large round leaves and grape like clusters of fruit. Extremely salt tolerant, hence its name, its protective canopy provides haibitats for many of our valued birds and small mammals. It also helps to stabalize land and reduce erosion. Easy to keep, can survive in pretty much any conditions, water in well when you first transplant it and it will reward you with many years growth.
