Very close relative to the Sugar apple, the fruit looks very similar except for the color. They have thick, creamy custard like pulp that can be pink, red or white. The fruit has a very pleasant flavor and aroma. The tree grows up to 35ft, with pale yellow fragrant flowers. Some sun is good, needs to have good drainage.

Sugar Apple

Classically Caribbean! Has a sweet taste due to the high fructose in the fruit, and is an excellent source of Vitamin C. Will grow to 20ft, pale yellow fragrant flowers, likes the sun. Water well once fruits start appearing.
